Nick Jonas, Pentatonix, and Others Join “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” Lineup
The final
performers for “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest
2016” have been announced, and we’re pretty excited for the music-filled
evening. Nick Jonas, DNCE, Alessia Cara, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis,
OMI, Pentatonix, and Nathan Sykes will all be joining the star-studded
lineup on ABC’s annual telecast of the event.
The Billboard Hollywood Party, hosted by Fergie, will feature performances by One Direction, Ellie Goulding, Elle King, Tove Lo, Rachel Platten, Walk the Moon, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Andy Grammer. (These artists just so happen to be some of our favorites from the past year).
The full evening will include over 38 performances, 5 and a half hours of music, reports on New Year’s celebrations around the world, and of course, the traditional countdown, which will be led by Ryan Seacrest from Times Square. Actress and comedian Jenny McCarthy will co-host the New York event, which will include performances by Carrie Underwood, Demi Lovato, Luke Bryan, Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Puth, and Jimmy Buffet.
The festivities will kick off on Thursday, December 31 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. So if you haven’t started planning your watch party now, this is officially the time to start—we recommend grabbing a few party hats, some sparkly attire, and a few of your best friends.
