One of the most significant works of Spanish Baroque architecture in America, it is considered the most beautiful church in Ecuador. The pipe organ is located in the choir, over the main entrance, and is with 1104 pipes the second biggest pipe organ in Quito that is still working: it was built in the United States in 1889, and is used during special festivities..
