Earthquake In New Zealand Creates Massive Fault Line, Uplifted Seafloor And New Lagoon
On November 14th, a 7.8 earthquake rattled New Zealand, one of the most powerful ever recorded in the earthquake-prone South-Pacific region. Though the quake was just over a minute, lasting damage occurred across the two islands and seismic aftershocks continued for days afterward.
