The Ultimate Disney Gift Guide for Music Lovers

Oh-My-Disney-Music-Holiday-Guide

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. We rounded up a list of the Disney-related music goods we’d like to see in our stockings this year, and here’s what made the cut:

1. Winnie the Pooh Plush Phone Stand from Disney: We love this cell phone holder inspired by our favorite willy, nilly, silly, old bear. You’ll never find yourself saying “Oh, bother” from misplacing your phone again.

2. Walt Disney Records: The Legacy Collection Box Set from Disney Music Emporium: If you love the music from Disney films and are interested in the story behind the songs, The Legacy Collection Box Set is a must-have. In the set, you get the soundtracks from The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Fantasia, Pinocchio, Toy Story, Disneyland, Lady and the Tramp, Pocahontas, The Aristocats, and Cinderella, with art by Lorelay Bové, and a visual development artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios.

3. Star Wars iHome Death Star Bluetooth Speaker from Hot Topic: [Insert your favorite Star Wars pun here]. It’s Star Wars season, so owning this bluetooth speaker is a must. And obviously, listening to the Star Wars: The Force Awakens soundtrack will sound even better when you’re hearing it through this deep-space-mobile-battle-station-turned-speaker.

4. “Eyes Wide Open” Tote Bag from Sabrina Carpenter: If you’re like us, you probably already own Sabrina Carpenter’s album (and if you don’t, you need to get that too)! The next natural step in your Sabrina Carpenter fandom would be owning this pretty tote.

5. Disneyland Diamond Celebration Headphones from Disney: These headphones are perfect for those who are at the intersection of music lover and extreme Disney Parks fan. Okay, let’s be honest, who isn’t an extreme Disney Parks fan? Celebrate Disneyland’s 60th anniversary and listen to your favorite albums from 2015—in style.

6. We Love Disney Album from The Verve Music Group and Walt Disney Records: Ariana Grande crushes a cover of “Zero to Hero” from Hercules and Jason Derulo sings a delightful medley of songs from The Lion King on this David Foster-produced compilation album of classic Disney tunes, covered by modern-day pop stars. Grown-ups and kids alike would be excited to see this under the tree.

7. The Lion King Broadway Poster from LionKing.com: Even if you haven’t seen the musical live, you can get this poster, show it off to your friends, and pretend that you have. We would still encourage you to see the musical, because it is awesome: If you can’t make it to Broadway, you can at least experience the opening number in this amazing 360 video.

8. Star Wars: The Force Awakens Vinyl from Disney Music Emporium: Star Wars fans spoke, and Walt Disney Records answered: Fans of the franchise have been asking for a vinyl release of the film’s soundtrack, so now is your chance to grab it and hear the Star Wars: The Force Awakens score in a whole new way.

9. The Nightmare Before Christmas Autographed Bundle from Disney Music Emporium: If you’re someone who already owns everything Nightmare related, we dug up a couple of items you probably don’t own. This commemorative bundle includes The Nightmare Before Christmas vinyl autographed by Danny Elfman, a “Jack is Back” Hollywood Bowl 2015 commemorative T-shirt, and a Hollywood Bowl 2015 commemorative poster. We think you need it—it’s simply meant to be.

Which items will you be asking for? Tell us in the comments!
